Craft Lab: Mythological Ceramics

On Sunday, March 10 at Craft Contemporary participants joined teaching artist Kira Doutt to sculpt the mythical and surreal in clay! Intergenerational audiences used underglaze, hand-building, and clay carving techniques to bring strange and imagined creatures into the real world! Attendees were invited to explore the galleries and engage with Maria A. Guzmán Capron’s surreal and beyond-human fabric figures.
